Beginnings

A new project in on its way and we’re excited to try and share it with more people. We’re a team of six students making a VR game about a spell caster from space. Two weeks of proper development time, this is what we’ve got.

“[GAME] is a 3D VR game, where the player assumes the role of a spellcaster from space who has landed on Earth. You move throughout the planet on a predetermined path and use element-infused spells to shoot enemies, who are trying to stop you. The player has a several different spells to use, and they are cast by drawing fictional constellation patterns on the screen with the controller.”

View of the game from the very first stages of development

We have two programmers who have been working on our first playable, which is set to be finished by Friday the 14th. Today they let me (the producer) know that they’re actually almost finished on their part! Video of the first playable will be published later.

Concept art of the player character

The vertical slice that we’ll be working on for the next four months takes place in a river level, so our artists are working on concept art of the river and its surroundings. More concept art will be published later once they’re finished.
